Access to Event Venue

The FAIR-EASE Kick-off Meeting will take place at Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP) - CNRS - Université Paris Cité, located 1 Rue Jussieu, 75005 Paris.

You will find below the various alternatives to reach the meeting venue, from the main train stations and airports.

If arriving by train:

• From Gare de Lyon (≈15-20min, standard €1,90 ticket):

Take Bus Line 63 towards Porte de la Muette to CUVIER and walk 550m to IPGP.

OR   Take Bus Line 24 towards Panthéon to BUFFON-JARDIN DES PLANTES and walk 550m to IPGP.

OR   Take Bus Line 87 towards Invalides to PONT DE LA TOURNELLE-CARDINAL LEMOINE and walk 600m to IPGP.

• From Gare Montparnasse (≈25min, standard €1,90 ticket):

Take Metro Line 13 towards Saint-Denis or Les Courtilles to DUROC, take Metro Line 10 towards Gare d’Austerlitz to JUSSIEU, and walk 130m to IPGP.

OR   Take Metro Line 6 towards Nation to PLACE D’ITALIE, switch to Metro Line 7 towards La Courneuve-8 Mai 1945 to JUSSIEU, and walk 130m to IPGP.

OR   Walk 1km/13min to DUROC, take Metro Line 10 towards Gare d’Austerlitz to JUSSIEU, and walk 130m to IPGP.

OR   Take Bus Line 92 towards Porte de Champerret to DUROC, take Metro Line 10 towards Gare d’Austerlitz to JUSSIEU, and walk 130m to IPGP.

• Gare du Nord (≈25min, standard €1,90 ticket):

Take Metro Line 4 towards Bagneux to ODÉON, switch to Metro Line 10 towards Gare d’Austerlitz to JUSSIEU, and walk 130m to IPGP.

OR   Walk to POISSONNIÈRE station and take Metro Line 7 towrads Mairie d’Ivry or Villejuif to JUSSIEU, and walk to IPGP.

OR   Take Metro Line 5 towards Place d’Italie to AUSTERLITZ, and walk 1km/12min to IPGP.

• Gare de l’Est (≈20min, standard €1,90 ticket):

Take Metro Line 7 towards Mairie d’Ivry or Villejuif to JUSSIEU, and walk 100m to IPGP.

OR   Take Metro Line 4 towards Bagneux to ODÉON, switch to Metro Line 10 towards Gare d’Austerlitz to JUSSIEU, and walk 130m to IPGP.

OR   Take Metro Line 5 towards Place d’Italie to AUSTERLITZ, and walk 1km/12min to IPGP.

If arriving by plane:

• From Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport (≈1h, standard €1,90 ticket):

Take RER Line B towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse or Robinson to CHÂTELET, walk 5min and take Metro Line 7 towards Mairie d’Ivry or Villejuif to JUSSIEU, and walk 100m to IPGP.

• From Orly airport (≈1h, €12,10 via ORLYVAL, €17,40 via OrlyBus):

Take ORLYVAL shuttle to ANTONY, take RER Line B towards Mitry-Claye or Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle to CHÂTELET, take Metro Line 7 towards Mairie d’Ivry or Villejuif to JUSSIEU, and walk 100m to IPGP.

OR   Take OrlyBus to DENFERT ROCHEREAU, take RER Line B towards Mitry-Claye or Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle to CHÂTELET, take Metro Line 7 towards Mairie d’Ivry or Villejuif to JUSSIEU, and walk 100m to IPGP.
